Hi, my name is Piotr Bortkiewicz and I am a freelancer from Poland. I enjoy working on Google, Meta, Bing, Linkedin and TikTok ad systems every day. It’s a great feeling when I know I can scale the effectiveness of my partners’ ads. Performance Marketing boosts my dopamine.

I pay special attention to an individually selected advertising strategy. I analyse the available budget, the specifics of the industry and the optimisation data acquired. I organise webinars, speak at industry conferences and guide you by the hand through Google Ads in my own online course!

I built my experience working for a marketing agency as Head of Ads and providing performance marketing services in an in house model. I’m constantly keeping up with industry innovations and testing them in practice.

I first heard about the Global Search Awards while working as a full-time intern. I didn’t expect that I would ever enter this competition. I especially didn’t expect to be sending in an entry for my own company. The information about being shortlisted as a finalist is proof to me that freelancers, with their knowledge, passion and never-ending desire for self-improvement, can compete with the biggest marketing agencies. This year I have been shortlisted for Best Use of Search – Automotive (small) for my work with my entry — How to increase ROAS on the handbrake?

The competition case study is about an e-commerce offering new, original car parts. The goal was simple: ‘we need to increase sales on the online shop’ but…. without increasing the advertising budget. This one was small and at a constant level throughout the partnership. In addition, there was no input data available. All work was done on a new advertising account with no historical data available. Future sales growth from Google Ads could only depend on a well-chosen advertising strategy and solid optimisation. Realising this, I optimised everything that affects sales from ads.

Participating in a global event like the Global Search Awards is a super adventure for me and I am very happy to be part of it.
