“The winner is…” an excited moment right before we heard that we won a Global Search Awards. This was a moment of recognition for the work that we delivered together as a team. However, the most important part is that the client is happy with the results. How did we manage to create a winning case like this?

It all starts with defining clear goals and KPI’s. This is something we actively do together with our clients. Strategic partnerships and actual collaboration is hugely important for us, as we don’t want to just write hours and have a client-to-agency relationship. In this winning case we worked together with our client Pip Studio. This Dutch brand inspires their audiences with new collections that vary from carpets to table accessoires they make and sell in more than 40 countries.

The goal was international revenue growth while maintaining a minimal profit on ad spend.
We looked beyond the obvious solutions for their hypothesis. This required campaigns with both marketing- and organizational objectives.

We used intern data from the client in combination with data from advertising algorithms for surprisingly good results. We also used our own ‘Customer Infinity Model’; a recurring data-driven approach in which we continuously gather insights to create high effective campaigns.

In this winning case we combined data from the Google Performance Planner with input from organization level. We embrace smart bidding algorithms, as it can include all factors to set the best real time bid. When an algorithm is properly fed with the right information, we think it’s far superior to manual bidding. There is no POAS (profit on ad spend) bidding strategy yet, so we had to find our own way to work it out and calculated the “ideal” ROAS to at least break even on ad spend. We think that usage of our own Customer Infinity Model, the combination of existing data, Performance Planner and the offline cost data and finally, the progress we make in automating this workflow is what makes this campaign remarkable in comparison with other campaigns.

We try to set the bar higher every time and utilize innovative strategies to get the most out of a case to help our clients. That is our way to stand out in de crowd! If you work together with Elevate Digital you will be a close partner, together, we set goals and strive to reach them with our “best of both worlds” data strategy!
