We are incredibly proud to have been shortlisted for:
- Best Use of Search – B2C (SEO) – Publicis Media Sweden & ACO Spotless – When Social Became the Search Engine
- Best Use of Data (PPC) – Publicis Media Sweden & ARKET – Size Availability Index: Re-engineering Shopping Visibility Using Inventory Depth
- Best Use of Search – Fashion (PPC) – Publicis Media & Weekday – Turning Creator Inspiration Into Search Demand Through YouTube Partnership Ads
When we found out that Publicis Media Sweden had been shortlisted across three categories at the Global Search Awards 2026, it made us reflect on what these nominations actually had in common.
At first glance, not much.
The nominations represent three very different pieces of work.
The ACO Spotless case explores how a skincare brand can reconnect with a younger audience through changing search and discovery behaviours.
The Arket case focuses on creating more relevant shopping experiences through better use of data.
The Weekday case explores how content can influence the way people discover products and brands.
Looking across the work, the same question keeps coming up:
What are people actually looking for?
For us, that is the common thread across all three nominations. Different brands, different challenges and different channels, with the same starting point; understanding what people are looking for.
ACO Spotless – When Social Became the Search Engine
ACO came to us with a challenge.
The brand wanted to better understand how to reconnect with a younger audience and whether TikTok could play a role. To answer that question, we started by looking at how the audience searches for information within the skin care category.
What we found was that the audience already was turning to social platforms when they wanted to learn, compare products, or find answers. That insight became the foundation of When Social Became the Search Engine.
The project explored how people discover products today and where they go when they want to learn more before making a decision. For ACO, it provided a new perspective on how younger audiences discover and engage with products.
“What I find most meaningful about this nomination is that it reflects how quickly search and discovery behaviours are evolving. The ACO project started with a question about reaching a younger audience and became an exploration of how social platforms are shaping the way people search, learn and make decisions. It is exciting to see that work recognised on a global stage.”

ARKET – Size Availability Index: Re-engineering Shopping Visibility Using Inventory Depth
The ARKET project explored how to use business data to create more relevant shopping experiences and improve the quality of product visibility on site.
Our work challenged traditional ways of thinking about visibility and highlighted the value of connecting commercial insights with customer experience.
The nomination recognises an approach that demonstrates how data can be used to create more relevant outcomes for both brands and consumers.
What makes me most proud about this shortlist is that the idea started with a very real customer need: finding products that are actually available in the right size. Turning that insight into a scalable Shopping strategy required both smart use of data and strong collaboration with ARKET. It is great to see that work recognised on a global stage.

Weekday – Turning Creator Inspiration Into Search Demand Through YouTube Partnership Ads
The Weekday project explored how content influences the way people discover brands and products.
Our work focused on understanding the relationship between inspiration, product discovery and search behaviour, highlighting how different channels contributes to business impact throughout the customer journey.
The nomination reflects a project that demonstrates the value of combining audience understanding, content and media in new ways.
“I am very glad to see this campaign being nominated, as it shows our interest in how search behaviour can be created by YouTube Shorts when the right content is shown for the right customer. I am also thankful for a great collaboration, both internally and with Weekday, as we get to be curious together.”

About Publicis Media Sweden
Publicis Media Sweden is part of Publicis Groupe, one of the world’s largest communications groups.
We bring together media, creativity, data and technology to solve our clients’ business challenges, without the barriers that often exist between disciplines.
We call this approach The Power of One.
By bringing different areas of expertise together, we help brands solve challenges that cannot be solved through a single channel or discipline alone.
The three shortlisted projects featured in this article reflect that way of working, bringing together different perspectives and capabilities to solve a wide range of client challenges.
What the Nominations Mean to Us
What makes these nominations meaningful is the work behind them. Each project required different skills, perspectives and expertise to solve a specific challenge for our clients.
“The cases show how search has evolved from a channel into a way of understanding intent. Across three very different cases, we have been able to decode how audiences express a need, compare options and move closer to action – then turn those signals into work that delivers both relevance and measurable impact”
– Sarah Dayan, Head of Performance at Publicis Media Sweden
“What makes these cases particularly interesting is that each one explores a different aspect of how people discover brands and products today. In one case, search demand was influenced through social platforms. In another, product visibility was shaped by inventory availability rather than traditional performance signals. And in the third, branded search was used to measure the impact of creator-led content. While the approaches differ, they all reflect an industry that is becoming more interconnected, where discovery is shaped by a growing range of signals beyond the traditional search results page”
– Pedro Talavera, Head of Search at Publicis Media Sweden
The nominations are also a recognition of the trust our clients place in us. New ideas and different ways of approaching challenges only become possible when clients are willing to challenge established thinking alongside their agency partners.
Looking Ahead
We would like to thank our clients ACO, ARKET and Weekday for their trust, collaboration and willingness to explore new ideas together with us.
We would also like to recognise everyone who contributed to the work. These nominations reflect the efforts of many talented people across our organisation.
We are proud to be shortlisted at the Global Search Awards 2026 and look forward to celebrating alongside our peers.
