Revolutionising Search With Ingenuity

We’re delighted to announce that AiiMs Group has been recognised for our SEO campaign efforts as a finalist by Global Search Awards 2024 with not one, not two, not three…but FIVE entries.

SEO is a fast-growing department at AiiMs Group, and getting into the shortlist for multiple categories is a proud achievement. Not just for all the work that the SEO analysts; as well as the writers, developers, and customer experience managers have done in support of these strategies, but for our journey and development as a team, and as a company.

As a search marketing competition that is open to almost anyone around the world, we understand getting into the Global Search Awards is a very big deal. Being nominated for these awards in this large-scale competition speaks volumes to our SEO agency’s service commitment to excellence.

Let’s go into the details of these nominations:

Best APAC SEO Campaign

Mr Splash Plumbing – Back In A Splash!
The Best APAC SEO Campaign brings notoriety to the best SEO campaign across the Asia Pacific region. At AiiMs Group, we got recognised for these efforts for Mr Splash Plumbing, for running an innovative and comprehensive trust-building campaign that rallied up the plumbing company’s rankings into the top 3 positions for some very highly lucrative keywords that had held heavy competition. (Competition that was heavy, both in Organic and Paid search).

This was a very comprehensive strategy. We can’t tell you the exact recipe behind these results, but our analysts used tactics from Local SEO, Onpage SEO, Technical SEO, Off Page SEO and the creation of high-quality, helpful Content.

Best Local Campaign (SEO): Large
We were shortlisted for our work x2 in this category: All Time Locksmiths and We Move Group.

All Time Locksmiths – Locking in Positions Over the Competition

Serving a locksmith company gave us the automatic focus on Local SEO, as they held a business model focussed on mobile service. Our local approach brought our attention to their Location Pages; both On-Page content and signals, and the technical information behind these pages that were limiting its reach. We refreshed content and designs, resolved duplicate canonical tags created by Google, and a lot more – all with a modest budget. The results meant impressive traffic that reflected ‘hot on-season’ organic traffic in their off-season months, and raised the client’s visibility well over its previous similar competitors.

We Move Group – Moving Up!

Every SEO knows that 2023 was a tough year for updates and this was a website that faced some volatility. We already had a great website to work with from our earlier efforts in SEO and web design previously, but now our attention was on recovery and expanding reach.

We built out many suburb Location pages with quality content and localised keywords, created blogs on popular queries, improved On-Page signals for Service pages, and improved a lot of technical elements that led to benefits like site speed and healthier Core Web Vitals. We not only recovered the site but made some bigger strides for We Move Group for their main goals for visibility and conversions than they have achieved before.

Best Use of Search (SEO) Finance: Large

Loanoptions.ai – Revolutionising Personal Loans via Search

Loanoptions.ai brought a much more interesting, innovative service than you would usually see online. A personal loan comparison tool through an impressive AI that streamlined and democratised loan comparisons. So our own SEO efforts also took a turn to the more out-of-the-box and unusual, namely including some interesting Off-Page tactics.

We optimised their social channels that were also targeted through our HALO strategy, and we worked with the client’s Digital PR partner to help optimise their news appearances and improve the link juice that came back to them. These improvements led to increased organic traffic, brand awareness and conversions.

Best Low Budget Campaign (SEO): Large

CV Sheds – City Traffic Without a City Storefront

One example of our impressive low-budget work we’re proud to be recognised for is our campaign CV Sheds. We were expanding their reach from their hometown: Kyneton, into Bendigo in Melbourne, effectively extending their Local Search reach to a much greater volume of customers. Their increase in impressions, interactions and conversions was proof that they were getting city traffic, even without a physical city storefront. The client has been getting excellent value from this channel, with high ROI for each converted lead. This was a campaign with a tight budget, very strategic cost-effective changes to maximise the effect and ROI of our work.

Acknowledgements

Google, SEO practices and the way people interact with websites and search engines online are always changing—and so are we. Through upskilling, staying up to date with updates, experimentation, and research we commit ourselves to continual improvement and adaptation.

With new developments like Google’s Helpful Content update series, Google’s expansion of their ecosystem, the release of AI, and soon Google’s own AI Overviews to be released in Australia, these changes are ever more challenging and forcing a much more dynamic digital environment than ever before. It’s not an easy time to be an analyst.
