Two Nominations, One Philosophy: Bonzer at the Global Search Awards 2026

A Double Shortlisting

This year, Bonzer picked up not one but two shortlist nominations at the Global Search Awards: Best B2B Search Campaign for their work scaling Pleo’s organic presence across five markets (in both traditional and AI search interfaces), and Best Software Innovation for Morrison, the content intelligence platform Bonzer has built in-house.

Two categories, two very different entries — but for the agency, they tell one story. Bonzer sits at the intersection of hands-on strategic consulting and building the technology that makes that consulting sharper and faster. This year, the Awards judges recognised both sides at once.

Who Bonzer Is

Bonzer works with ambitious, growth-focused brands across technical SEO, content strategy, and digital PR, treating each discipline not as a separate service line but as part of one connected approach to visibility. Where that gets interesting is when the work scales beyond what manual process can keep up with — multiple markets, huge content libraries, tight timelines — which is exactly the kind of problem both of this year’s nominated entries were built to solve.

The Campaign: Pleo, Five Markets, One Framework

Pleo is one of Europe’s leading business spend management platforms, founded in Copenhagen in 2015 and recognised as Denmark’s youngest unicorn during its 2021 Series C round. Pleo now powers billions of euros in business purchases every year.

Pleo came to Bonzer with a strong product and an existing library of content, but a hard scaling question: how to build authentic thought leadership that strengthens SEO, E-E-A-T, and AI Search visibility — not in one market, but across five simultaneously (Denmark, Sweden, the UK, Germany, and more), each with its own competitive dynamics.

Rather than replicate a single playbook market by market, Bonzer built a scalable, E-E-A-T-driven content framework designed to position Pleo as a genuine authority in the shift toward AI-driven search. The measurable outcome: a +2,670% increase in B2B AI-traffic across five markets.

“Bonzer is more than an agency; they are a true strategic partner. They have provided us with a scalable, E-E-A-T-driven framework that has not only delivered exponential growth in organic value across five key markets, but has also positioned us as the definitive authority in the new landscape of AI-driven search. Their team is an extension of our own.” — Alfredo Bernal, SEO Lead, Pleo

The Software: Morrison

The Pleo campaign is exactly the kind of work that led Bonzer to build Morrison in the first place. Running large-scale content operations across markets surfaces the same bottleneck again and again: teams spend disproportionate time coordinating data and quality-checking content, time that isn’t spent on strategy.

Morrison is Bonzer’s answer to that — an AI content intelligence platform that reads a website’s full corpus, learns its brand voice, connects to its performance data, and lets teams run content audits, governance checks, and optimisation work continuously rather than in occasional, manual sprints.

“The nomination is well-deserved. With a large digital footprint, we usually spend an enormous amount of time coordinating data and quality-assuring content. Morrison has given us an intelligent assistant that understands our specific business and tone of voice from day one. It gives us a significant advantage and elevates the quality of our efforts, saving us valuable time.” — Mark Sumberg, Global Search & PPC Manager, GoWish

Why Two Nominations Matter

Bonzer could have entered one category this year. Being shortlisted in both, for a client campaign and for a product built in-house, says something specific about how the team believes an agency should work. As Bonzer puts it:

“It means the world to us being nominated for both prizes, as it highlights what we strive to do every day: helping clients through consulting, and delivering tools that combined increase better visibility. Our two offerings — service and software — create results, both in strategy and in everyday work routines.” — Bonzer team

Consulting sharpens the strategy; the tooling makes that strategy repeatable at scale. Pleo’s result came from applying judgment and craft to a hard, multi-market problem. Morrison exists so that kind of judgment can be applied faster, and to more content, without losing quality along the way. Seeing the Awards recognise both in the same year is, for Bonzer, recognition of that whole approach rather than a single project.
