About Our Award-Nominated Work
Orting Animal Hospital is based in Orting, Washington, USA. They came to us wanting to boost their search visibility in six neighbouring areas: Bonney Lake, South Hill, Puyallup, Sumner, Fredrickson, and Graham. The main aim was to score higher rankings for relevant local search terms and get more visibility in the SERPs.
To achieve this, our campaign consisted of quality link building, acquiring links through unique content on relevant publishing sites that covered themes of animals, pets, outdoors, local news, and sites based in the Seattle area. We also created new on-page content for ‘vets near me’ style pages to target the above geographical locations.
Central to effectively executing our campaign were monthly check-ins with our client to review our progress and make any adjustments needed to our approach as we went along to continue growth. This close communication with the client meant we could make the most of their local knowledge of the area, get insights from other vets, and decide on the right number of pages we should target.
It also helped us build a strong picture of the audience we needed to target – pet owners in the Orting area. It meant we could really tailor the content we produced to the audience’s needs and location, which would help drive organic traffic.
What Our Campaign Achieved
We started to see improvements from May 2023 and continued refining our strategy to ensure success. Overall, our campaign secured some enviable results, which included some pretty impressive leaps in keyword ranking to the top three spots for the keywords we were targeting.
Thanks to our campaign, our client has experienced incredible growth, adding 250 new customers per month. They previously had 733 total active customers and had been running for two years. Compared to more mature, established clinics that tend to increase their customer base between five and 10 per cent yearly, our client’s figures are exceptional as they’ve increased their customers by a huge 35 per cent.
